Refresh Your Cells
Most of us do not drink enough water( h20, wa wa or whatever you want to call it). We will drink tea, cola. juice and anything else but diabetics need water. You don't have to flood yourself, just drink the required amount and maybe sometimes a little more. If you don't like plain water, then cut up a lemon or a lime or if you are in the mood purchase flavored water. But to have great looking skin and keep the circulation going as it should then refresh yourself with " the liquids of the gods!" Water!!!!

HERBS, CENTURIES OLD AND HERE TO STAY
For centuries, man has found remedies for every ailment on the planet. This most definitely holds true for the "silent killer" diabetes. This disease leads to other major problems with internal organs, eye functions and circulation. When I was first released from the hospital, I had major problems with my eyesight. So I went to my specialist who promptly did an eye examination and let me know that as the blood sugar leveled out, so would my eyesight get better. Someone emailed me a list of herbs and on this list was the herb bilberry. I went online to find out about this herb that had been around for centuries. I then went to the health food store and spoke with an herbal specialist there. I proceeded to buy the liquid form because I felt that it would be the most helpful for me. This herb really does help with eye function and circulation. Being a writer, I must be at my computer many hours of the day to compose my articles. So I do not want or need problems with numbness or my eyesight. Follow the suggested usage on the bottle. I mix it with my cinnamon tea and take it three times a day. For me, it really does work.

"CINNAMON" The True Spice of Life
I didn't believe it when people were telling me, so I tried it for myself. Cinnamon really does work to lower the blood sugar level!! I make myself a tea in the morning and as many times during the day that I want. Buy the inexpensive kind, from whatever bargain store that is nearby, it works just fine. I use 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to 1 cup of water and heat it in the microwave. Now, I do not add sweetner just because I like the taste of cinnamon but you can add sweetner if you choose. It gives me energy in the morning and relaxes me at night. I have become the cinnamon lover!!! This is nature's true "spice of life", CINNAMON!!!

Diabetes
In January of 2010, I was hospitalized with extreme fatigue, lack of appetite, excessive thirst, and extreme night sweats. All this was brought on by the onset of diabetes. I spent many sleepless nights unsure of what was going on with my body. I tried to self-medicate by using various OTC treatments to no avail. I began to feel as though my life was spiraling out downward and out of control. I thought I knew about diabetes but I soon learned that I was wrong. Though several family members suffered from this, I never thought it would happen to me. I finally went to my physician who checked my blood sugar which turned out to be almost 400 and my A1C was 15.6 which was off the charts!!! He immediately hospitalized me. Since that diagnosis, I have struggled to find resources that I could clearly understand. It is my goal, through this site, to help other women who find themselves in a similar situation.
